What are your hours of operation?
Emma’s Day Care is open Monday through Friday from 8:00AM - 5:30PM. Specific hours may vary slightly by family need, so please contact Emma directly for the most up-to-date schedule.
What ages do you accept?
We currently welcome children ages 15 months to 5 years. Availability may vary depending on age group.
How do I enroll my child?
Families can reach out via phone, text, or email to inquire about openings.
If a spot is available, Emma will schedule a visit and provide the necessary enrollment forms.
When capacity is full, families may join the waitlist.
Do you provide meals and snacks?
Yes. Children enjoy simple, homemade snacks such as fresh fruits and crackers, along with kid-friendly lunch options like pasta, sushi rolls with vegetables (not raw fish), or macaroni and cheese.
Please inform Emma of any allergies or dietary needs.
What is your daily routine like?
Our day includes a balance of playtime, structured learning, outdoor activities, meals, rest, and creative art projects. Visit the Daily Schedule page to see an hour-by-hour overview.
How do you handle naps?
Depending on your child’s age and routine, nap or quiet time is provided daily. Parents may bring a labeled blanket, special cot sheet, and/or comfort item if desired.
What holidays are observed?
Emma’s Day Care closes for major holidays throughout the year. You can view the full list on the Holiday Calendar page.
Are birthdays celebrated?
Yes! Each child is recognized on their birthday with a small celebration.
What is your illness policy?
To keep all children healthy and safe, little ones showing fever, contagious symptoms, or illness may be asked to stay home until fully recovered.
Please contact Emma if you’re unsure whether your child should attend.
What should my child bring each day?
Please send your child with a change of clothes, diapers or training pants (if needed), and any comfort items for nap time. A small backpack is helpful to keep everything organized.
How do you communicate with parents?
Emma provides updates at pickup (e.g. toilet training, eating, sleeping) and may text if something needs your attention.
Is outdoor play included?
Yes. Weather permitting, children spend time outdoors each day enjoying fresh air, supervised play, and exploration.
